What might be considered a severe punishment for a human will be a slap on the wrist, if not outright inapplicable, to a ghost, and vice versa. There is overlap, of course, due to many ghosts being spirits of the deceased, but still more than enough differences to be a clear division between them. It shows starkly with Vlad. From a human perspective, Vlad would be considered an irredeemable monster. From a ghostly perspective, he's terrible, but still has a chance to turn things around. | |
