 Yuso is a Princess Mononoke fanfic created and currently in the process of being written by author Zyrios on FanFiction.net. It is currently eight chapters long, and counting.The story of Yuso focuses around two teenage boys, Noah Errans and Finn Mc Daniel, two friends living in the present day who unexpectedly wind up transported through time and space to Japan, in the Muromachi Period, thanks to a mysterious force of nature. Stranded in an unfamiliar land during a tumultuous time, the two boys quickly cross paths with the Emishi prince, Ashitaka, and after unintentionally getting themselves wrapped up in his personal quest, they find themselves with no other option but to retrace the plot of the movie in the hopes of finding some means of returning to their own time awaiting them somewhere in the forest surrounding Irontown.Advertisement:propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_mobile_ad_1'); })Word of God credits the works of authors Stone-Man85 and N'jata for inspiring Zyrios, though only insofar as the plot of "present-day person gets sent back in time" is concerned.  Bilingual Bonus: "Yuso," according to the author, is one of several ways to say "transport" in Japanese, which he felt was appropriate for the title of a story about two kids being kidnapped through time. In chapter five, Finn calls his sister Sammie and receives an unwarranted chewing-out, riddled with angry Scottish slang. Chapter seven is titled, "Alleati di un Tempo," which means "Erstwhile Allies" in Italian - a nod to newcomer protagonist Eiji Abukara's backstory as an ex-fisherman from Venice, as well as a hint as to the meat of the chapter. Possibly subverted here, as Zyrios admits that he got his information from Google Translate, and could very likely be wrong.
