Earlier, a guy jokingly tells Zack that his new Q-comm also functions as a weirding module, prompting Ray to point out that it's a David Lynch invention just for the movie and was absent in the books. Zack brushes him off, saying that it doesn't matter, since weirding modules are cool. Ray claims music by Rush lines up perfectly with attack patterns in video games. A kid named Lightman figures out the only winning move is not to play. Polybius is one of the games mentioned in Xavier's notebook as being part of the government training program. Lex sports a tattoo reading "El riesgo siempre vive"; she's impressed when Zack gets the reference and calls her "Vasquez". Other than the nickname being "Thunderdome" by those who work there, the base on the moon is designated Moon Base Alpha.
