Alliterative Title: "Bitches Brew" is perhaps a reference to the Miles Davis album of the same name. Given the witchcraft imagery that Crosses employs, it can also be a play on "witches brew".

Lucky Charms Title: Crosses is often written as †††, and they sometimes replace the letter "t" with † and they have a song simply titled "†".

Non-Appearing Title: Played mostly straight with the EPs/album. "This is a Trick" and "Blk Stallion" avert it. "The Epilogue" doesn't appear in its lyrics; the most synonymous is "it's time we come to the end".

Careful with That Axe: Downplayed since Crosses is a mellow side project for Chino Moreno, but he screams for a bit in "This is a Trick". He does scream more at the end of "Bitches Brew", screaming "SAY SOMETHING, PRAY FOR SOMETHING" several times.
