Tempting Fate: In the Isolation timeline of Chaotic Evil, one of the guards snarks about how Benjamin isn’t pulling anything on them, despite having literally been brought into their prisons without consent. This bites the guard pretty hard once Whitty, Carol and Sunday bust in and rescue Benjamin from their clutches. When the main guard of Corrupt’s ex-army finally managed to snag Corruption right out of Evo, it seemed like a victory for the former. However, once Corruption awoke from his slumber, he was royally peeved to discover himself stuck in a vacuum cleaner tool, promptly making it suffer from Explosive Overclocking and outwitting said guard. An example happens to Yishu while interacting with Samantha, proclaiming that he thought IRL Finn was going to be the only one to hold the opportunities of the Errorverse. Cue her revealing straight after that IRL Finn is actually her father, and a nervous reaction out of Yishu as a result. In the seventh episode of Casual Stories Season 1, Tardy shuts himself in a closet to protect himself from Greg the Spider and to leave Torol to fend him off alone. However, it turns out Greg was hiding in that exact same closet, leading to even more hilarity as Torol goes to stop the taps downstairs. | |

Those Two Guys: In the Area 15 universe, River and Iago have this bond, the former having bought and gotten the latter out of a pet store following Respiro’s wrath, and the latter itching to see River have misfortunes at any turn. Needless to say, they both squabble quite a lot. And fortunately for Iago, only River, Jadie, Genie and the Carters know about his ability to speak fluent English, which catches A51!Alex off-guard when he tries to stop Iago from “dropping bombs” on Tila’s tombstone. Prior to IRL Luis becoming hostile, he had this relationship with Flowey Doug, being the one to dish out insults and mockery at any turn to the ex-villain and annoying him to the point that he gives Tardy the title of his second most-hated individual (ranked by how much someone annoys him, of course). This is dropped after IRL Luis’s hostilities, which make Flowey Doug genuinely hostile to him and hating him for not being the annoying guy he once was. | |

Trauma Button: Benjamin really does NOT like thinking about the Corruption, especially since it left a very harsh mental impact on him. Thinking about SoniKiller in general is pretty much the biggest trauma button for Nitro, as he left really painful mental scars on the young boy and caused his depression in the first place. Evo became unlucky enough to suffer from TWO of these not too far apart; first being when Seak was about to torment him, leaving him with nightmares for possibly months, and second from an alternate timeline to NAMELESS_EVIL_666.EXE, which leaves the canon Evo with a trauma demon to contend with. He does overcome both of these, though. For Movie Sonic, this is seeing big, dark monsters, due to a nightmare he had pre-NE6.EXE around The Shapeshifter/Shifty. Brian NE really doesn’t like being reminded of his toon form, as it brings some very bad memories to him. | |

Wade, as a result, loses his trust in Brian_Corrupt following the latter’s nihilistic thought of paying retribution onto AE!Luis. IRL Luis used to have a good relationship with his friends and the Errorverse cast until his selfish addiction to making the perfect series to show the world consumed his time and efforts, causing them to reject him after he refused to want anything to do with them. This Is Unforgivable!: Attempted Peace!Chris refuses to forgive ERR!SoniKiller for the actions he partook in to prove a point, hammering it home that his Freudian Excuse Is No Excuse for capturing and using AP!VA_MC to his advantage. Neo couldn't forgive Error, nor did he have any sympathy for him like he used to. While he did understand why he did it, the fact Error constantly treated him like a criminal and called him a circus freak, parasite and alien right in the face and refused to give him a chance made Neo lose all sympathy for the monster for his cruel attitude and treatment. In an alternate scenario, Reemah and his other friends refuse to associate with BetaBrian after the physical and verbal abuse he caused to Neo and his friends. They do patch things up later once he admits to why he was really angry, though. Karilvatch strongly admits that the treatment Region received during his sentence went too far, which the head guard, Vicky and several of Heljin’s former henchmen unanimously agree on. Said guard even threatens to outright BEHEAD the cruel staff members if even one more bruise is found on Region’s body. Fortunately, Vicky breaks him back out by the end of Chaotic Evil, and to say Brian is not happy about it is a STRONG Understatement. Teak was against the idea of forgiving either Seak OR the scientists for their inhumane actions, but was not planning on assassinating anybody just to get payback for it. Puhoi felt this way about Kyuzi’s actions that turned him into a monster, trying to force everyone else to see the reality of things and Brian’s true past nature in Project: MCGAMEJOLTER.bin. LH!Benjamin and LH!Pico argued against that statement, knowing that Brian was a completely different person by that point. | |

What the Hell, Hero?: After IRL Luis tears down IRL Lean’s birthday party in his madness, Rian (prior to joining the SMGs), Amelia and Chara all call him out on this to no avail. It gets so bad that IRL Finn AND Xenophanes have to step in themselves. This happens again in Errorverse: Prank Wars (Leading to Corruption of Perfection), when the new IRL Lean and IRL Ivan went out to try and prank IRL Luis/MCGamer after pranking their other friends. This eventually led to them realising he was still in his room and went out of their way to try and get them out, and it led to unwanted attention. Except this time, his reason for snapping is out of the pressure from people's expectations unlike the previous IRL Luis. MCGamer makes use of a LOT of Black Comedy around AE!Luis’s upbringing, which, unsurprisingly, DOES upset the kid, while Benjamin has to personally punish him whenever he does any such talk. It ends up getting to the point where Benjamin outright resents MCGamer/MCS for such cruel jokes. | |

You Can't Go Home Again: This is how Error_Code/BetaBrian is punished after Neo’s world is fully reset at the end of The Lost Games Season 4, with him unable to ever break back into his old world and being forced to improvise. And this was made permanent after erasing all traces of his existence just so Neo would finally return to his home without suffering from trauma. In the alternate Space Disaster timeline, SD!Enzo and SD!April are left stranded and needing to fend for themselves until they were found and brought to shelter. One variant of Nerila ends up getting locked in the virtual Calteron, no thanks to that game’s developers illegally claiming her intellectual property, even winning a lawsuit with request from Nerila's owner to change her appearance, meaning she can’t return to her version of the Utopian Islands. LG!Nitro is sadly unable to help her out for this reason. On the opposite end of the spectrum, AltBetaBrian, a variation of Brian from one timeline, alongside his version of Joilean_Clone, end up trapped in Neo’s world (the canon one this time), with him and Nerila both feeling disgusted at their games’ companies being at each other’s throats and going to questionable lengths to get what they want. AltBetaBrian does get used to his new life over time, though, thanks to the support of his new friends. Shatterverse Bound!Tails and Shatterverse Bound!Mina end up like this in a split timeline of One More Hero (dubbed Bound to the Shatterverse), getting trapped in the Shatterverse after their attempt to protect the Paradox Prism backfires compared to canon. They did settle into the worlds, though, and made the most of their time there. Formerly downplayed for MC in that he could still come and go from the OMEGA Universe without problems, but following Darkest Measures, he can’t bring himself to go back after the attempted torment inflicted on him by Seak. However, this becomes permanent as he becomes a part of the New Era cast due to his conditions, with that dimension being the safest for his body, meaning he couldn't leave anymore. The ultimate fate of both Puhoi and Kyuzi, both forever stuck in the Omegaverse and unable to return to the Errorverse to patch things up with those they hurt. The real-life Alt Samantha, Ivan and Lean are all forced to relocate to a different iteration of their world following MCGamer’s demise, before she and Lean make it back to the Errorverse themselves. A more voluntary case on Vivienne’s part in New Guest, considering her Dark and Troubled Past made her not want to go back to her home life, instead wishing to stay within the Forever World with Tinsley. | |
