They decide to try surrogacy, but at the last minute Ruchami secretly ends the contract with the surrogate and has a doctor remove her IUD so she'll get pregnant. Once again, her pregnancy becomes dangerous and she's rushed to the hospital, but this time both her and the baby survive.
