SubRoc-3D is an arcade shooter game developed and released in 1982 by Sega. The game is a very typical arcade-type shooter but is very unique in the fact that it's the very first video game to be released in 3D! The player presses their head into an eyepiece that uses a mechanism with spinning discs to send a different image to the left and right eye. The game finishes the effect by making use of sprite scaling. The game got a home console release for ColecoVision simply named SubRoc which only simulated the 3D effects.

Endless Game: Typical of arcade games of the time, the game does not have an end. The player simply plays until they run out of lives.
