The Evil Empress wants a consort for her domain. Unfortunately, none of her male subjects are quite up to her standards. So what does she do? Kidnap the hero, of course. Once he sees how hot she is, and how they can rule together, he'll fall into her arms. Unfortunately for the villainess, this never seems to work out. Occasionally, the hero will be forced to play along temporarily, but in the end, he will always escape the villainess' clutches and leave her all alone and lonely...until the next time she manages to finagle him into her arms. The villainess in question is often The Vamp and/or Daddy's Little Villain. If the villainess is more interested in having a male Sex Slave rather than a consort, the next step is always a Gender Flip of I Have You Now, My Pretty. However, this trope can sometimes result in a Sex–Face Turn... A Sub-Trope of Villainous Crush. A Sister Trope to Dating Catwoman (if the hero actually returns her affections), All Amazons Want Hercules, Single Woman Seeks Good Man, and I Love You Because I Can't Control You. The alignment-flipped Sister Trope of All Girls Want Bad Boys. Contrast with Mad Scientist's Beautiful Daughter, since the villain is unwilling to renounce her evil ways to woo the hero. |

Aladdin: The Series: There's a recurring villain a witch named Sadira, whose main goal was to steal Aladdin from Jasmine, though she gave up on it in her third appearance and befriended Jasmine. There was also Saleen, an evil mermaid who attempted the same thing. Though in one episode she turned Aladdin into a shark, which seems sort of counterproductive to this trope. |

In Puella Magi Madoka Magica, in some circumstances villainesses want heroines as well: While its exact nature is to be discussed, Kyoko, the closest person had for a villain at the time, definitely had a thing for female Knight in Shining Armor wannabe Sayaka, and the latter's heroism and Honor Before Reason tendencies seemed to play a big part in it. This goes double for Homura's witch/demon self from Rebellion, who wants to keep Madoka trapped inside a Lotus-Eater Machine in a misguided attempt to "protect" her. |

The Mighty Thor: Amora the Enchantress. Her attraction to Thor overrides all other considerations—she does admire many of his heroic qualities, but in some cases, has loved him completely despite her many flaws. That said, she does seem to appreciate and enjoy the attentions of other heroes, and has pursued many who have caught her eye, including Hercules, Black Knight, Heimdall, Captain America, Wonder Man, and many others. There's also Hela, Norse goddess of death, who is either this or a Stalker with a Test Tube, Depending on the Writer. She's also Thor's adoptive brother's daughter in some sense, by the way, but mythological gods have never been exactly picky about that sort of thing. The Enchantress's younger sister Lorelei also wanted a piece of thunder god, and once used magic to seduce and rape him. These days, she's lost interest, and gone for a different hero, Sigurd The Ever-Glorious, Asgard's oldest hero, and a bit of a Jerkass. If Amora is to believed this attraction is mutual making Sigurd a Ladykiller in Love, yes, that kind of jerks. Thor's older brother Balder has been a victim of this, too, at the hands of the Norn Queen Karnilla. In her case, there was a bit of Love Redeems and I Want My Beloved to Be Happy, as she realized her attempts to punish him for spurning her were hurting her just as much. |

Yatterman started off the trend of Time Bokan leaders having crushes on the boy on the hero team, with Doronjo being very attracted to Yatterman-1/Gan Takada. Her descendant Leopard in Yatterman Night likewise has a Precocious Crush on Gatchan, but this is a case of invoking since Leopard is the hero of the story and only becomes a villain after she lets Gatchan and Aloutette take credit for saving the world under the Yatterman name.

In Angel Season 2, it's shown that even as a soulless evil demon, Darla is still in love with the titular hero, Angel, despite his "filthy" soul. Even when he's not in his Superpowered Evil Side form of Angelus, Darla still cares for him — as Drusilla The Empath notes to Darla's ire. It helps Angelus/Angel and Darla were together for 150 years so feelings can't just be swept aside so easily.

G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero: The Dreadnok Zarana falls for the Joe tech specialist Mainframe during an undercover mission, an attraction that is very much mutual even after he discovers her true identity. She even covertly assists him on one occasion when he's deaged, and quietly wishes him luck. Dropped in the Di C season where she's introduced as hooking up with Destro instead (though it should be noted that the connection between the original Sunbow seasons and post-movie Di C seasons are somewhat... vague).

Subverted in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012). Karai flirts with Leo on screen, but they become enemies after Leo and his brothers try to kill the Shredder, her father. Played straight by the end of the series, where it's all but stated they're an item (e.g. Karai outright tells Leo that she won't go easy on him during a training match just because she likes him), though by that point Karai is pretty clearly no longer a villain.

Justice League: In "The Great Brain Robery" when Lex Luthor and Flash trade bodies, Tala is clearly far more attracted to Flash as Lex than the real thing. While Flash is flippant toward her and creeped out by her clinginess, he nevertheless treats her far nicer than Lex ever does. At the end, when Lex is turned back to normal, Tala is visibly disappointed to have "her" Lex back. In the episode "Alive", Giganta develops a sympathy for Wally West. At the end of the series finale, she uses a bit of her head start time to give him a kiss before running away with the other villains. |

The Many Dates of Danny Fenton: Played With and later averted with Danny's worse dates: Cree Lincoln seemed to like Danny at first, only to lose interest after he both dumps her and discovers that he cares about kids. Vicky from The Fairly OddParents! never expressed any genuine interest in Danny, she was just looking for a Meal Ticket and didn't hesitate to leave him when she found out that he has no money. Averted with Katie Kaboom who seems to be unaware of the fact that she transforms into a monster, or at the very least, that she is doing anything wrong, but it's clear she has a thing for Danny. Played straight with Black Cat, who takes a liking towards Danny despite being two years older than him. Dragon Ball: Bad Blonde Launch as seen in the original series is very infatuated with Tien, in Launch's anime-only DBZ appearance she robbed a bank to buy food for Tien and set up a house for them. Blonde Launch is quite upset that he isn't interested in being a Outlaw Couple with her. The Snake Princess from Filler is attracted to Goku and gets a Luminescent Blush seeing him naked, she isn't even deterred learning he's Happily Married saying the purest hearts are delicious. Then she turns into a huge snake and tries to eat him. Android 18 towards Krillin during Dragon Ball Z, played with in that her love for him redeems her to the Z-Fighters. Zangya from Dragon Ball Z: Bojack Unbound is flirtatious with Krillin and in the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi she says finds him cute, much to 18's ire. Hop from Dragon Ball Super is attracted to Vegeta saying how much she will enjoy scratching his "handsome face". |

But during the Wood Dragon God arc, it's revealed that one, the "Natsu" that Touka was referring to is actually Happy thanks to believing he was a powerful dragon-rider who saved her rather than the real Natsu and mistaking his name to be Natsu, and two, Touka and the White Mage, or rather Faris, are two individuals sharing a body after the latter possesses the former, with Touka (the one that actually has a crush on Happy) being her Helpless Good Side Exceed self. Additionally, it turns out that not only does Fairs not have a crush on Natsu, she's really a Well-Intentioned Extremist desperate to save her homeworld of Elentear from the Dragon God Selene and ultimately performs a Heel–Face Turn.

From Anpanman, Dokinchan, Baikinman's second-in-command, has a (very large and very obvious) crush on Shokupanman, one of the members of the breadheaded superhero team. He's a bit too conceited to notice her crush, though he treats her with a level of kindness that he doesn't show any of the other villains...besides Dokinchan's little sister, Kokinchan, who ALSO has a crush on Shokupanman (though hers is a bit more of a childish one, and she's treated as less of a villain by most of the cast).

The Dresden Files: Harry Dresden has had this happen to him a few times. Most notably Queen Mab, who wanted Harry to become her champion the Winter Knight, and went about it with a part-seduction/part-job-offer/part-make-your-life-hell vibe. And when Harry finally accepts, the deal gets sealed with elemental-level coitus. For her part, Mab is less a villain and more subject to Blue-and-Orange Morality, but she's not nice. Lasciel, a fallen angel who spends time living in Harry's head and trying to tempt him into a full-blown Demonic Possession. At one point this involves a dream with Harry in a hot tub. When the actual Lasciel shows up in Skin Game, she acts like a Psycho Ex-Girlfriend. |

Used in a minor way in The Order of the Stick. Fairly early, Elan gets kidnapped by bandits who, as it turned out, were acting on the orders of the beautiful Bandit Queen. Looks like 18 Charisma wasn't just for show after all. (Well, it is, obviously, but you know what we mean.) Somewhat unusual in that Elan actually goes along with it until his UST-target shows up and complains, at which point he defends himself by claiming that seducing the beautiful villainess is part of his solemn duty as a Bard. Sabine mentions this trope in a comedic inversion of All Girls Want Bad Boys from this strip. There's also the situation between Durkon and Hilgya. Deconstructed in that while she was attracted to him and he eventually returned the favor, she was still married and the Lawful Good Durkon could not be involved in a relationship with someone who was married to someone else. |

In Kull the Conqueror, Akivasha the Red Witch spends the vast majority of the film attempting to convince Kull to accept her offer of immortality and become her lover and co-ruler over all the world, beginning even before he is a real threat to her and without standing to gain anything from his acceptance of the offer. She constantly pulls her punches (and even betrays her own minions) in order to avoid killing Kull in the hopes that he will eventually come around and be her consort for all eternity. After such dogged persistence, you almost feel bad for her when she finally gets the kiss she wanted... but it's laced with the Breath of Valka, which kills her. Heavy emphasis on almost though.

Resident Evil This is Ada Wong's attitude towards heart throb Leon S. Kennedy, many fans forget due to the Dating Catwoman angle that Ada is an amoral Femme Fatale Spy who will happily hurt, manipulate and backstab anyone including Leon himself sometimes. But Word of God says that Ada's one redeeming trait/weakness is that beneath her multiple lies and betrayals she does genuinely love Leon to some extent and will actually help him out at times. In the Resident Evil 2 (Remake) Leon cleverly weaponizes this trope against Ada as after he learns she just wants the T-Virus and points a gun at Leon when he refuses to hand it over. Leon correctly guesses that Ada isn't truly willing to kill him to retrieve the virus, thus creates a brief stalemate. In Resident Evil: Revelations The Mole Jessica Sherawat is attracted to Chris Redfield and unsuccessfully flirts with him throughout the game and is even somewhat jealous of his unwavering care for his "partner" Jill Valentine. |

Metal Gear: In Metal Gear Solid Sniper Wolf is explicitly attracted to Snake, it's revealed she actually falls for most of her targets. In Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Femme Fatale Mistral screams this trope towards Raiden given she blows him a kiss when she firsts sees him, seductively drops her coat in front of him and during their duel Mistral actually yells excitedly that she wants more while fighting him. Of course, being Happily Married to Rose, Raiden mostly spurns her Mistral's attraction and dodges her blown kiss "like a bullet". In Metal Gear Solid V Quiet's Heel–Face Turn stems from her attraction to Venom Snake. |

Unlike most examples, this is not played for humor, fanservice, or as a redeeming quality, as she tries to rape him at one point, with Double Standard Rape: Female on Male fully averted. Especially Catwoman, who is the Trope Namer for Dating Catwoman. Poison Ivy is attracted to Batman and finds him fascinating as one male whose will is strong enough to resist her allure. In Neil Gaiman's version of her origin, she was obsessed with Batman from the start. Talia al Ghul takes the cake, on one instance trying to utterly destroy Batman, kill his "family" and ruin everything he'd ever worked for... because he wasn't paying attention to her. Teen Titans (2003): Played as high-school drama when Kitten, Killer Moth's Bratty Teenage Daughter, wants Robin to take her to the prom. Subverted, however: she just wants to use Robin to make her real boyfriend jealous. Blackfire flirts pretty heavily with Robin in her first appearance, but this seems less to be actual interest and more just her screwing with her sister Starfire's (Robin's canon love interest) head. In her second appearance, she pretty much ignores Robin entirely. This trope is completely inverted in regards to Jinx and Kid Flash. Kid Flash is definitely the active pursuer in the relationship, with him trying to coax Jinx into turning over a new leaf. |

Invincible : Dark example, as Anissa is attracted to protagonist Mark, stalking him multiple times and saying she wants to reproduce with him to ensure Viltrumites survival (she finds normal human males repulsive) Mark, however, rejects her. Which angers Anissa and causes her to attack Mark, smashing him down into a crater, pinning herself on top of him and raping him. Mark is of course horrified by the ordeal and the experience briefly spoils his sexual relationship with his wife Eve, when Eve learns truth she tries to kill Anissa first chance she gets. Likewise, his father, Nolan, senses that something is wrong and ends up nearly ripping Anissa's head off. Later, he works it out and doesn't take revenge, largely because Anissa has genuinely pulled a Heel–Face Turn and because he knows from experience how screwed up Viltrumite society was - by the standards both were raised by, that behaviour was positively normal. Instead, he opts to comfort Mark.

Manga/Crystal Queen Beryl started it all with her crush on Mamoru, but it's played with. She's only interested in him because he's the reincarnation of the man she loved, Endymion (this love carried over from her past life where she had an unrequited love for him). Prior to finding this out, she had no interest and was planning on having Mamoru killed. Her love does seem to be genuine (though Metaria has probably warped it) and it can be assumed she was planning on making him her consort when she ruled the world. Black Lady is the Electra complex version of this trope; she only becomes interested in Mamoru because he reminds her of her father. Of course, it's later revealed that he is her father: a younger him before he became King Endymion. Nehelenia lusts over two guys at once. First she kidnaps Helios (who appears to be about 12), curses him, and locks him in a cage. Played with later on as she's disintegrating; it's implied she felt entitled to have Mamoru since he's the reincarnation of Endymion and she felt herself to be the proper ruler of the Moon Kingdom (thus the queen of the moon should be married to the prince of Earth). Galaxia plays with this. Though she brings Mamoru back to life as a zombie and has him kiss her lips, chest, and feet, she has neither romantic nor sexual interest in him; it's just to psychologically torture Sailor Moon. |

Superman: Dana Dearden, who goes by the aliases "Obsession", "Superwoman", and "Mrs. Superman". Her Superman obsession drives Dana to obtain superpowers, and later declare herself 'Mrs Superman' after a photo emerges of Supes wearing a wedding ring. The Queen of Fables is so delusional that she believes Superman is Prince Charming, and wants to make him her husband. She even once abducted him and trapped him in a Kryptonian forest (gleaned from tales of Krypton). Maxima initially butted heads with Supes when he declined her offer of marriage. Eventually, she learned to take "No" for an answer and became an ally. But Maxima is a slight aversion. It's not so much that she loves or wants a relationship with Superman. She wants his genetic material to improve her royal bloodline. She's just . . . rather traditional in her choice of collection method. She has gone after other men, moral and immoral, so long as she thinks they will father powerful children. That means Captain Marvel, whose power has nothing to do with his genetics, is right out, but Aquaman is such a viable candidate that Maxima kidnapped him. Still, it's Superman that Maxima not only wants the babies of, but whats raising her babies while she conquers worlds. Superman's teenage clone Superboy also dealt with the affections of a female villain. In his case, it was Knockout, a former member of the Female Furies who came to Earth shortly after Superboy moved to Hawaii. Like Maxima, she was an alien redheaded woman with super strength. She was also much older than Superboy. |

Lanfear's interest in Rand al'Thor in The Wheel of Time is almost a textbook example of this trope, even down to the We Can Rule Together. Game of Thrones: With Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow in the series finale. Daenerys and Jon have already fallen in love before Daenerys burns a surrendered King's Landing after her Sanity Slippage, which is prompted by a series of grievous personal losses.note Daenerys loses her advisor and confidant Jorah Mormont in the war against the dead, while her best friend Missandei and dragon Rhaegal are killed by Cersei Lannister and Euron Greyjoy. Additionally, since she and Jon find out the truth of their blood relation, they still love one another but Daenerys fears people will push for Jon's claim to the throne over her own (she later discovers one of her own advisors, Varys, wants to put Jon on the throne over her and she executes Varys). Meanwhile, Jon, who renounces his claim for Daenerys's, halts their intimate relations since finding out they are related by blood. Daenerys kills thousands of civilians and afterward, she announces her plans to conquer the known world through death and destruction in order to realize her perfect world. Tyrion urges Jon it is [Jon's] duty to kill her now but Jon resists due to his love for her. Jon tries to persuade Daenerys to show mercy but Daenerys now believes mercy is a weakness used to cripple her and believes what she has done is right. Still, Daenerys still wants Jon by her side to continue the Targaryen dynasty — but just as Jon failed to convince Daenerys to be merciful, Daenerys fails to convince Jon to join her plans to conquer the world, and he ends up reluctantly assassinating her to stop her carnage, weeping as Daenerys dies in his arms.

In this case Hulk... enjoyed himself so much that not only did he revert to puny Banner, but Umar couldn't torture Banner into turning back. Later, in The Incredible Hulks, she appears to scoop up an out-of-control Hulk, super-charged by a reality-warping device, for an inter-dimensional booty-call. When the Red She-Hulk objected, Umar brought her along as well. Apparently, she thought that level of power, and the extra partner, would give them enough stamina to make for an interesting evening (by comparison, she wiped out the Hulk in their first encounter in under six minutes). She saved the Earth, unintentionally, in the pursuit of really vigorous sex.

Sailor Moon Abridged: Beryl's even more obsessed with Darien than she was in the anime. It's so bad she stalks him on Facebook and her sexual intentions for him couldn't be any clearer. She also seems to think Guy on Guy Is Hot; when the brainwashed Darien and Malachite engage in a fight, her response is to suggest they mud wrestle while she videotapes it. Ann retains her canonical crush on Darien, but it isn't as flanderized as Beryl. Sailor Mars probably counts since this series drops any pretense of telling us that she's good, despite being on the same side as Darien. She's even more vocally into him than she was in the anime and doesn't pretend to like his somewhat girlfriend Serena (who's also her teammate Sailor Moon). Making her obsession worse is the fact that she's a Satanist who often mentions wanting to sacrifice him, set him on fire, or otherwise cause him bodily harm. The only time he reciprocates is when he's brainwashed, though he does say he's with Beryl (though he doesn't seem too thrilled about this).

Child of the Storm has Yelena Belova, the Red Room's Black Widow, want Harry, the Red Son. Who she takes a certain glee in molesting and raping in all but the very strictest legal sense - and that because she wanted him to "finish cooking". The character in question is fourteen. This isn't so much because of who he is, but because she enjoys exerting power over someone so powerful, and is trying to recreate a 'superior' version of her warped vision of the Black Widow/Winter Soldier dynamic (as the Red Son is the Winter Soldier's nominally Superior Successor). It's portrayed as utterly horrifying.

90s anime Poor, poor Mamoru Chiba. The tendency for villainesses to fall for him and/or kidnap him was flanderized. Queen Beryl's love of Endymion and jealousy of Serenity was the only thing kept from the manga; her backstory was otherwise heavily changed, making her seem even more obsessed with him and was a victim of Love Makes You Dumb concerning his brainwashed self. Downplayed with Black Lady (though the kiss between them was portrayed as straight-up romantic even if it wasn't real). Nehelenia kidnaps Mamoru and treats him like an object, though it's unclear why she does this. Her lust for Helios also seemed to be slightly increased. Anime-original examples: Filler Villain En in the second season gains a crush on Mamoru and becomes a Clingy Jealous Girl to both him and her brother. Her love for Mamoru is part of the reason why she hates Usagi. Esmeraude once mentions how handsome Tuxedo Mask is. His response is to nope away. Mimete briefly crushes on Mamoru. Buffyverse: Xander is frequently subject to this trope. In "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered", Xander — who already has it bad enough, being nearly ripped apart by every woman in Sunnydale — has The Vamp Drusilla also wanting a piece of him. She even stops Angelus trying to kill Xander. Luckily for Xander, when he flees inside a house, Drusilla can't follow him. In Teacher's Pet, a giant female Mantis (disguised as a Hot Teacher) tries to lethally mate with Xander. In "Inca Mummy Girl", a Mummy girl ends up falling for him. In season 3, Faith (an Anti-Hero) seduces him and takes his virginity and kicks him out of her home after sex. Later, when Xander tries to reason with Faith about her wrongdoings, she sexually assaults him before she starts strangling him, causing Angel to intervene. Anya becomes this towards Xander overlapping with Yandere though her Heroic Sacrifice redeems her. Veruca, a female werewolf, is attracted to Oz and repeatedly coaxes him into giving into his wolf side by not only attacking people, but sleeping with her. Willow, Oz's girlfriend, discovers this and tries to kill Veruca. Veruca tries to kill Willow in turn but is stopped and killed by Oz. In Seasons 3 and 4 of Angel, Lilah falls in love with Wesley and is even jealous of his lingering love for Fred. However, Lilah's feelings for Wes are part of her Character Development where Love Redeems. Jasmine gives Angel a Forceful Kiss in their battle which is all kinds of Squick as she's technically his granddaughter. |

Sailor Moon: Manga/Crystal Queen Beryl started it all with her crush on Mamoru, but it's played with. Blade Runner 2049 has a more subdued but still apparent example with Replicant Luv's attitude towards The Hero Replicant K. Luv clearly takes a liking to him when they meet, and protects him from scavengers with a Kill Sat, she even says to his boss Lt. Joshi that he's a "good boy". Towards the climax she becomes more obsessive, having stalked K for the Wallace Corporation throughout the movie and when Luv meets K's hologram girlfriend Joi, Luv unnecessarily destroys her in a Kick the Dog moment probably born out of jealousy. It's probably most blatant in the climax where Luv gives K a Forceful Kiss, after stabbing him in the torso.
