comment
bit Generations was a series of simplistic video games developed by Skip and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance in 2006. The games were designed as "pick-up-and-play games with a combination of simplified controls, graphics, and gameplay. Because the Gameboy Advance was late in its lifecycle and was not very popular outside of Japan at the times the games were released, the games never left Japan. The games released in two "waves" with the first series of games releasing on July 13, 2006 and the second releasing on July 27, 2006.The entire series consists of seven games: Boundish: A series of simple Pong clones where two players simply play to bat a ball back and forth between two paddles. Each of the five games included have a different objective to bat the ball around. Dialhex: A puzzle game where the player has to form complete hexagon shapes (called a "Hex") by catching dropping triangle shapes from the bottom of the screen as well as rotating hexagonal sections of the playfield. Certain shapes on the playfield also release power-ups if cleared from the field. dotstream: A racing game where the player guides a dot that leaves a line behind it through a track filled with obstacles. In keeping with the theme, every level is called a "drawing". The game has three modes: Grand Prix, Spot Race which is a time attack, and Formation where the player gradually adds dots to their collection and controls them all at once. Coloris: A puzzle game where the player eliminates colored squares by changing the color of squares nearby until the colors match. The game has two modes: Clear where the player must clear a certain number of squares to pass the level, and Score, a score attack. Orbital: An action-puzzle game where the player takes control of a star that must grow in size by absorbing other stars. The star moves around the screen by use of gravity and antigravity. Soundvoyager: The world's first "audio game" where the player must place a marker moving through a scrolling stage right onto the stereo center by using only sound from the game. This game was shipped with a pair of stereo headphones. Digidrive: Developed by Q-Games rather than Skip, this is an Endless Game where the player must line up three kinds of vehicles in a four-way intersection and then use the fuel from them to launch a core on the right side of the screen.Even though the games never left Japan, Nintendo would follow them up with a series of games for WiiWare and DSiWare called Art Style which included remakes of Orbital, Dialhex, dotstream, and Digidrive, respectively called Orbient, Rotohex, light trax, and Intersect. In addition, stickers representing the games' logos appeared in Super Smash Bros. Brawl under the name Digilux which indicated a potential international release of these games under that title.

all lowercase letters: Not entirely for the series name which is correctly called bit Generations but it is played straight with dotstream.

Minigame Game: Soundvoyager consists purely of minigame style missions, even though they all boil down to "find the stereo center channel". In addition, Boundish is merely a collection of five Pong clones.

Endless Game: Digidrive only ends when the piston at the lower-right of the screen catches up with the core and crashes into it. In addition, Score Mode of Coloris only ends when the player can't match any more color tiles and chooses to end the game. Plus, "Box Juggle" in Boundish only ends when the player drops the last box they are juggling.

Tech-Demo Game: Soundvoyager is billed as the world's first "audio game" since it was developed purely to be a game that could be played without ever having to look at the screen.
