Misfiction is a short Explorer Horror game by Hatoge, the creator of Ouija Sleepover and Sofia?.One night, university freshman Rylan Baker is approached by "rich douchebag" John Blanc, a cold man who fancies Rylan. Though his affections are refused, John decides to act out the many Yaoi stories he's read and kidnaps Rylan, certain that Rylan will come to return his affections. Rylan disagrees and begins cooperating with his friend Eugene to escape.It is followed up by a sequel, Mistrick, taking place after the events of the original game. You now play as John Blanc, who has gotten arrested for the kidnapping of Rylan and finds imself trapped in a strange pocket dimension by Chase Colt, a convicted and executed Serial Killer who's spirit still lingers, wanting to make John his own. A talking doll, Lola, points John to Claire, a giant face on the floor of one room who can transport John back to his world. But she won't do it, because John has bad "vibes". So Lola suggests John start befriending the spirits and helping them out however he can. | |
